Service Description
Individual counseling is available for ages 5 and up. Discussions in individual counseling help to identify patterns in thinking, feeling, behaving and relating; increase understanding of self, situations or relationships; identify personal strengths that support efforts towards positive change; and develop new tools for approaching concerns that can lead towards positive wellbeing. There are eight dimensions of well-being: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, financial, and environmental. Neglect in any one dimension over time can adversely affect the others, and ultimately one’s health, well-being, and quality of life. Individual therapy is a collaborative process with a goal to experience a rich, fulfilling balance and increase quality of life. Through this journey, you’ll learn effective ways to cope with life’s varied challenges. At your first appointment, we'll take a look at your current concerns and assess your overall goals for treatment and map a treatment plan that supports your mind, body and spirit. We will utilize a variety of person centered approaches to help you reach your goals and encourage self- expression, self-discovery, and emotional growth.
